10th Conference of the Scientific Association of Human Resource Development Research Centers
The tenth session of the association’s annual conference was held on the third and fourth of May 2023 in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and within the confines of Princess Sumaya University for Technology. It was entitled: Managing Human Resources Development after the Corona Pandemic, given the sudden emergence of the Corona pandemic and its spread in all countries of the world and the accompanying cessation. For work and the disruption of the interests of institutions and individuals in all fields, the human resources department has been forced to resort to implementing remote work. As a mechanism to mitigate the effects of this crisis and continue working using information and communication technology.
Therefore, the aim of this conference is to identify the nature and direction of human resources development management after the Corona pandemic, and this conference mainly addressed the following main topics:
- Pre-university education after Corona.
- University education after Corona.
- Challenges of human resources development after Corona.
- Partnership between the public, private and civil sectors in developing human resources during and after Corona.
The following Arab countries participated:
United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Jordan, Libya, Iraq, Palestine, Morocco, Egypt, and Sudan.
The opening ceremony of the conference received the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Hassan bin Talal (President of the Supreme Council for Science and Technology), who was appointed by His Excellency Dr. Adnan Badran. A keynote speaker known for his interest in education and human resources affairs, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Walid Al-Maani, Minister of Education, Minister of Higher Education, and former Minister of Health also distinguished this session.
